For 10+ years, I've researched and experienced the cycle of violence, systemic injustice, and our struggle to rebuild community and self after disaster.
Experiencing domestic abuse in my own relationship, while simultaneously navigating sexism and abuses of power within our legal system, gave me an in-depth look at how ill-equipped (and uninterested) our current system is in supporting survivors.
Today, I use my research and experiences to fight toward a society of kindness. A society built on inclusive social supports for all those who too often fall through the cracks. A society where we aren’t afraid of education. A society where we aren’t afraid of one another.
Health politics, research, and revolution.
